Interesting program, but I’d like to know if these kids still know how to read when they reach 4th or 5th grade, or if they still enjoy reading like this when they reach their teen years. How old is the creator’s daughter now (Aleka) & does she still enjoy reading? There are too many unanswered questions for me to want to purchase this program.
I have to split the answer into multiple parts due to 500 character limitation. For more information please visit Your Baby Can Read Facebook community where you can speak with parents who’ve been using the program very successfully.
Aleka is 18 years old. She is studying philosophy in England at one of the top 10 universities in the world. She fits in well at her university and she loves England. She is also a writer and editor for her school’s newspaper. Her vocabulary is extraordinary. Shes been writing since she was four years old and writing short “chapter books.” She has loved reading ever since she was a baby. Aleka reads very quickly and has superb comprehension far beyond what most people imagine is possible.
For example, she reads books and remembers many important parts word for word. Because of her amazing reading abilities, she does not have to spend as much time studying, so she has more time for everything else in life.
Keelin is 15 years old. She is a straight A student. She is a junior in high school as she advanced a grade early in childhood. Keelin is taking five AP classes at the same time. For most students this schedule would be overwhelming. Keelin somehow manages to get everything done and have an active social life. She has friends over more often than not.
HOLY cow not a scam it actuially works my friends kid just got it and hes only 3 months and was reading it was also featured on CNN
I didn’t learn to read until I was four, but I am still pretty smart. But the babies were so cute!!

0:25 : That is an airplane, not pointing…
I mean, with the flashcards, you can make your own it seems like. But isn’t there a video or something else?
I have a question, I just bought the dvd for my baby. she is already 8 months old. Can she still catch up? I read that most of the babies are around 3 months old when they start to watch the program. Does anyone have the same situation as mine?? tnx!!
It’s not too late, your baby is still within the age of 3 months to 5 years when it’s natural for them to learn new language skills. Would highly recommend that you read the Parent’s Guide and watch Early Learning Workshop DVD prior to starting the program with your daughter. Also, would encourage you to join Yoour Baby Can Read Facebook Community for additional support from other parents.
HAAAHAA hes only 3 months old and he’s talking?
My little sis needs this she is 1 year bvehind iam doing all i can to help her> where can i buy this vid Is it too late she is 2 but she talks like 1
I love that these babies are learning. Small kids and babies are so amazing anyway! Way to go kiddos! Kids rock!!
It works. My baby can READ! No coercing, special environments, bribes, false praise, or anything of the sort. At a year old, my baby can read all the words. How do I know? He tries to say or act them out when their written or typed in different fonts/colors. He asks for the videos every morning, and loves to point out the words. Awesome!
@mikaylei2426 Hello, the program is designed for children ages 3 months to 5 years, so no it’s not too late for your 8 month daughter. Let us know how your daughter is doing. All the best.
